House@War - Covenant Reformation

The House formed part of the combined Terran response to the Covenant Reformation. The Covenant no longer enjoyed the superiority in space that it once had. Although it had improved its ground troops significantly they were still inferior to the best Terran units. The Covenant made initial gains made through sectors 12 to 20 but in sector 21 the famous Battle of Pytheas III resulted in the destruction of a large part of the Covenant fleet. The Terran forces quickly regained sectors 15 to 20 and over the next 12 months regained full control of the quadrant.

The SS William Gates explodes as its core is breached. The SS William Gates was one of the many Terran ships destroyed after the Covenant regrouped and counter attacked.
